As promised during his campaign, Councilman Rice formally opened his community office within his first 100 days in office. This satellite office is a community council office for the convenience of West Ward residents that may be unable to commute to the Councilman’s Municipal City Hall Office.

Councilman Ronald C. Rice’s Little City Hall/Community Resource Center is located at 900-B 18 th Avenue, between Melrose and Vermont Sts. It is staffed with two (2) members of the Councilman’s staff and is open to the public from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Little City Hall has the following services available for the public:

• Job Opportunities
• Volunteer Opportunities
• West Ward Collective Membership Forms
• Municipal Calendars
• City of Newark Constituent Services Guidebooks
• Voter Registration Forms
• Councilman Rice’s Upcoming Meetings, Events, and Initiatives
• Meeting space for community groups and organizations

Little City Hall is also the home of the West Ward Family Support Network (West Ward Collaborative), which provides support services for families throughout the entire ward.

First Monday of Every Month (5:00PM - 8:00PM)

Starting in March 2007, Little City Hall will be open until 9:00 PM every Monday for residents that work late.
